Calls Opened for Wiki Loves Africa, Register Now

Wiki Loves Africa (WLAf) is here again!!  Thanks to the Wikimedia chapters, groups and local Wikipedia volunteers, we are honoring the past and celebrating the future through music and dance, be it hiplife, highlife and traditional. How about a throwback to the music by the likes of  Osibisa Junior(woyaya), Abrewa Nana, Akosua Agyapong, Stella Seal,  Tagoe sisters , Gyedu  Bley Ambuley, Rev Bonsu and  dance moves like alanta, kpalogo, abgbadza, kete, bawa and many more.  We just don’t have one day to do that but rather sixty two good days of Music and Dance.

I bet you would want to add up to the content of Ghanaian music and dance on Wikipedia? From the month of December 2016 through to January 30,2017 join the Open Foundation West Africa  to create articles and upload videos of anything music and dance.  It’s no doubt that you are the best person to tell the world at large more about your kind of Ghanaian music and dance.

You don’t necessarily have to be a member of the community to upload, however you can register your interest in joining this exciting project by clicking on the link below .
