Managing Director - Felix Nartey

Felix is a Business Consultant, Entrepreneur, a Technology Enthusiast and an Open Advocate. He is a Cofounder and Director of Open Foundation West Africa and consults in the capacity of a Global Coordinator for the Wikipedia Library at the Wikimedia Foundation.
Nartey holds an MBA from the Anhalt University of Applied Sciences and a Bachelor of Science (Bsc) in Banking & Finance from the Central University College. He is passionate about volunteerism and believes in the potential of the youth in unearthing revolutionary talent for the benefit of Africa. Image link:



Director of Communications -
Raphael Berchie

Raphael is an Open Advocate. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Consumer Sciences and currently a Graduate student pursuing a Masters in Communication. He is a Cofounder and the Director of Communications for Open Foundation West Africa, where he handles public relations, media and social media. He is also in charge of Partnerships. He establishes partnerships for the foundation.He is an active contributor of Wikipedia and has created over 200 articles and stubs. He is a member of Internet Society Ghana and FOSSFA. He believes the only way of bridging socioeconomic Gap is through education and Open education is the key.


Events Program Manager -
Stella Sessy Agbley

Stella is a female open advocate. She holds a Bachelor of Science (Bsc) in Public Administration from Ghana Institute of Management & Public Administration (GIMPA) and a Diploma in Archives Administration from University of Ghana, Legon.
She is currently the Senior Records Supervisor with Public Records And Archives Department (PRAAD) of Ghana and with her passion and zeal for the Open movement, Stella is currently the driving force as Operations Manager with Open Foundation West Africa.


Programs Manager -
Joy Agyepong

Joy is an Entrepreneur and an Open Advocate. She has the desire to help promote the Open Movement by partaking in projects that seeks to achieve the objectives of Open Education Resources for All. Joy holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Total Quality Management from the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) and a Tertiary Diploma in Business Management from the same University. In her current role as the Programs Coordinator for Open Foundation West Africa, she manages and maintains projects and schedules to ensure proper implementation of programs.


Community Engagement Manager- Pamela Ofori-Boateng

Pamela Ofori-Boateng is a Media Practitioner and an Open Advocate. With her role at OFWA as the Community Engagement Manager, she maintains effective flow communication from the organisation to community members. With her special affinity in the development of the youth, she works as an advocate in drawing them into the open movement. As a freelance journalist with interest in women and children, the disabled, business and science, she has worked with global news platforms such as Scidev.net/fr and Quartz Africa.


Communications Officer -
Michael Nana Frimpong

With much love for Communications and fixated to make impact Michael Nana Frimpong is an Open Advocate. He holds a B.A in Information Studies and a Dip. In Librarianship from the University of Ghana. Also has a dip. in Customer service from the Institute of Commercial Management-UK. Currently,He works with Goethe-Institut Ghana as an Assistant Librarian in charge of Information Services and Students Orientation. As a passionate communicator Michael assists with OFWA'S communications(Podcast) and it's event Mc'ing. He is with the notion that timely Information dissemination to the right clientele is paramount.


Monitoring & Evaluation Manager -
Benedicta Biankie Nartey

Benedicta is a graduate of the University College of Management Studies. At OFWA, she leads teams and projects focused on strengthening and helping grow the open movement in Ghana. She is responsible for the management and mentoring of volunteers, monitoring impact of our projects and providing support for participants even after our events. She is also the leads generation manager at Platinum Edge Group and a field researcher on climate change for 350.org Ghana.


Technical Manager - Edward Afful

Edward is an open advocate and an IT enthusiast. He holds a Bachelor of Science (Bsc) in Computer Science from University of CapeCoast (UCC). Currently a freelancer and volunteer with his passion and zeal for the Open movement, Edward is currently the Technical brain force as Technical Manager with Open Foundation West Africa.
